Important legal information

Nestlé SA is the biggest food company in the world, which unifies labels such as Mövenpick, Nescafé and Vittel. In the last five years the Nestlé share increased by 62 percent. The base for this incline could be a strong portfolio.

Nevertheless the company suffers under negative news, which result of the depreciation of the Swiss franc or production issues in India. The depreciation occurred a slump in Nestlé’s turnover and reduced growth expectations between five and six percent. Finally the share could note an increase of 4.5 percent. This result lays under company’s expectations, but underlines in the context of the currency depreciation a strong label. Furthermore the production of Maggi pasta in India obtained attention, because of a higher lead concentration as usually common. In the short-term Nestlé had to recall all Maggi products because of uncertainties.

However, Nestlé announced for the new year a growth between five and six percent. An advantage could be the companies market position and the products, which are offered. By offering products for the daily life a frequent demand can be noted. The actual development has to be await.

Bloomberg consensus set the 12-month target price to CHF 77,70. Currently, 15 analysts set Nestlé on BUY, 16 on HOLD and 3 on SELL recommendation.
